Who we are

Aethel Bot.com (https://aethelbot.com), including the Aethel Bot mobile app, is a product of Swado Tech (https://swado.in). We provide omnichannel chatbots for WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social media platforms. We are official Meta partners. The mobile app is a staff companion for an invited workspace. It does not offer public sign-up.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Aethel Bot.com, we may process:

• Account and workspace details, such as name, email, role, and tenant settings
• Customer messages, media metadata, and conversation context from connected channels (for example WhatsApp and Instagram), including messages staff open in the mobile app
• Channel connection information needed to operate messaging, such as WhatsApp Business Account and phone number identifiers
• Mobile push details: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and the device name, so we can deliver alerts you turn on
• Usage, diagnostic, and security logs related to the service

We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve Aethel Bot.com for your workspace
• Route, reply to, and store conversations for your workspace
• Send conversation content to AI model providers so the workspace bot can draft replies
• Authenticate users, secure the platform, and prevent abuse
• Send transactional messages such as workspace onboarding email, and push notifications you choose to receive

We do not sell client information to third parties.

Service providers and platforms

To run Aethel Bot.com we use infrastructure and platform providers. They process data only as needed to deliver the service. This is not a sale of your client information. Those providers include:

• Supabase, for authentication and database hosting
• Firebase (Google), to deliver push notifications to the mobile app
• Meta's WhatsApp and Instagram Business Platform, to send and receive customer messages
• Email delivery, for invitations and other transactional mail
• AI model providers, including OpenAI, Google, and OpenRouter, as processors of workspace conversations when the bot drafts a reply

Conversation content is shared with an AI provider for that reply. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise to you or to track you across other apps.

Cookies and sessions

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies as needed for authentication, security, and basic preferences (such as theme or language). The mobile app keeps a sign-in session on the device for the same purpose.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Billing and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Security logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate abuse and protect the service. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and deletion

You can turn push notifications off in the app or in your device settings. Workspace owners can disconnect a channel from the workspace and from Meta Business tooling.

To ask us to delete your staff login and the personal data tied to it, use the Aethel Bot account deletion page or email [email protected]. Deleting a staff login does not delete the workspace. Customer messages, bookings, and other tenant records stay with the workspace owner. We may still keep billing records and security logs as described above.
